In the modern manufacturing landscape, the shift toward sustainable, lightweight, and highly durable structures has pushed industrial aluminum profiles to the forefront. Traditionally, structural components relied heavily on carbon steel. However, the rise of the electric vehicle (EV) sector, solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays, advanced robotics, and high-speed rail infrastructures has driven a major transition to structural aluminum alloys.
Specifically, alloys in the 6xxx series (Mg-Si grouping, including 6061 and 6063) represent the standard in precision engineering. This is due to their excellent balance of extrudability, weldability, corrosion resistance, and heat-treat response. Modern structures require specific temper treatments (such as T5 or T6) to reach optimal tensile strengths of up to 290 MPa. By using these customized profiles, global enterprises achieve weight reductions of 30% to 50% compared to traditional steel designs. This weight savings directly improves energy efficiency and load capacities across all application types.
Weight reductions through optimized aluminum profiles translate to extended battery range for EVs and reduced structural load on structural frames.
Low inertia and high rigidity allow robot mechanical arms to achieve rapid, precise movements while keeping structural wear to a minimum.
Photovoltaic frames require high structural resistance to environmental wear, wind loads, and oxidation without adding significant roof loads.
Procuring industrial aluminum from Chinese facilities provides significant strategic advantages. These extend far beyond basic cost savings. The main advantage lies in the deep vertical integration of China's aluminum supply chain. For example, our industrial clusters integrate raw bauxite sourcing, electrolytic smelting, custom die casting, state-of-the-art extrusion lines, surface finishes, and secondary CNC machining all in one region.
This high concentration of infrastructure significantly reduces transportation lead times and raw material transit costs. It also ensures that custom chemical profiles and alloy compositions are mixed to exact tolerances right at the source. This setup enables manufacturers to deliver rapid turnarounds on complex extrusion designs, even for projects requiring complex multi-cavity hollow dies or tight geometric tolerances.
Established in 2022 in the Jimo District of Qingdao, Qingdao Kangjian Aluminum Industry Technology Co., Ltd. has quickly grown into a leading manufacturer of high-precision aluminum profiles. Operating from an 80,000-square-meter production site with an annual capacity of 15,000 tons, our facilities are designed to handle demanding industrial requirements.
Our production line features 5 high-performance extrusion lines, including a 2500T heavy-duty press, a 1450T line, an 1150T line, and two 700T presses. This range of machinery allows us to extrude profiles across a wide variety of dimensions, from small, complex electronic channels to wide structural profiles for rail transit, marine engineering, and heavy machinery.
